With Chen Pi, for Spleen Qi Deficiency or Phlegm-Damp Obstruction manifesting as productive cough and a stuffy chest.
With Fu Ling, treats Phlegm, thin mucus and turbid Dampness.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 3-15g Revives the Spleen, activates Middle Jiao Qi, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
With Zhi Ban Xia, for viscous sputum and a stuffy chest due to Phlegm-Damp Obstruction.
(Exocarpium Citri Reticulatae Rubrum) (Ju Hong) (15g) (Treats vomiting and belching and Phlegm-Damp coughs. May substitute for Chen Pi.)
Poria Fu Ling 5-9g Strengthens the Spleen, transforms Phlegm and drains Dampness from the Middle Jiao.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Chen Pi, for nausea, vomiting, chest fullness and distention and anorexia due to congested fluids.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Zhi Gan Cao 1-6g Tonifies the Spleen, resolves Phlegm and moderates and harmonizes the properties of other herbs.
Rz. Arisaematis Preparatum Zhi Tian Nan Xing 3-9g Disperses Wind-Phlegm in the channels, dries Dampness and expels Phlegm.
Fr. Aurantii Zhi Ke 3-10g Promotes the movement of Qi and reduces distention and pressure.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 3-10g Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen and Clears Dampness from the Lower Jiao.
With Xiang Fu, for chest, epigastric and abdominal pain, distention and discomfort due to Dampness and Qi Obstruction.
Fr. Amomi Sha Ren 3-7g Promotes the movement of Qi, aromatically transforms Dampness, strengthens the Spleen, warms the Middle, calms the fetus and prevents miscarriage.
With Cang Zhu, for Cold-Damp induced diarrhea and dysentery.
With Zhi Ban Xia, for morning sickness.
